I know I promised to dish some dirt on something...well, i dun remember what it was...

Anyways, I don't know how to react when I read TNP that day. (may 25)

"Another clip shows students from Anderson Secondary School fighting.

The boys exchange some telling blows and kicks but are soon separated by their friends.

They do not seem to be doing it for a video, but are captured anyway on film.

The scene lasts about 20 seconds.

While the fight which took place in late March appears to be brutal and real, the principal, Mrs Poh Mun See, said the clip was just to capture 'a mock fight between two good friends'.
She said: 'The two boys wanted to have some fun with their classmates. The clip of the mock fight was put on the Internet to share the fun with the rest of the class.'

She added the boys are 'good and responsible' and that the video was uploaded by another girl, who is not even in the video.

Mock or not, can the clip influence other boys as it's quite violent?

Said Mrs Poh: 'There might be no bad intentions between parties like in this case. But students who don't mean harm might not realise that they can be misunderstood.'

Mrs Poh said that the school is already doing its part in making students mindful of their responsibilities and ethics of blogging and uploading of information on the Internet.

She added: 'This takes place during computer education and project work lessons. The principal and key school personnel also speak to the school regularly on such matters during assembly.'
She added that, in light of the incident, the school will intensify its efforts to educate its students."

I'm trying to find the "mock" violence between the upper sec boys video on youtube but i can't find it at all. As much as I want to believe in Bryan's comment that it was a biased news article, one has to see it to believe it no?

I just think that it was a very ridiculous idea to "share" the video online. I mean if it's for the class, then pass it around via bluetooth or something. And share it ONLY amongst yourselves.

Still, the crux of the problem lies in the fact that we DO NOT know if it was mocked or not. There used to be a clear line but now everything's blurred. I just think that it was a terrible pity that they had a mock fight rather than study. Have the teachers not drilled into their head the importance of the O's? I wonder if they did get Adam Khoo.

The fact remains that it seems to be a blatant cover-up. There won't be any punishment? It's utterly mind-boggling to even think about it.

The school's glory days were over a long time ago. And we're deluding ourselves, thinking that it's not. So please, I urge current Andersonians to stop this rubbish and concentrate on upholding the school's name. The school is more than an institution that you studied in. It's part of your identity. You don't hear people saying, "So who's your sibling" but rather "What school did you go to?"

Once an Andersonian, ALWAYS an Andersonian.

Next time you thinking of doing something stupid, think. Think HARD. and don't be a doofus and wear the school u. The school doesn't need to shoulder your actions. Face the music yourself coward. Don't play taichi.

I'm supposed to go for Janani's operatic solo but I can't due to unforseeable events. Sorry girl. Break a leg. I know you will wow everyone.

This past week has been rather fine. Everything's proceeding smoothly. Except Landscape. Was forced to submit an uncompleted work. Was in a daze for a while. It was so slip-shod! ARGH. ms Tek said that being a perfectionist in drawing is bad. You tell me how I'm supposed to not be one. It's rather deeply engrained in me. I feel uneasy handing in uncompleted work. SO when she returned the textural studies, I added to it. Sure, I'm disappointed with the abysmal result but i have to see it in a positive way. Using it as a drive to excel. I want to be on the Director's List; kind of ambitious but why not? As they said, aim for the stars. if you fall, you'll land on the moon.

Yesterday had Oriental flower design using a kenzan. Turned out rather horrendous to me. Thankfully I managed to get a B. And it turned out to be trigger happy day. Snapping photos all around. Took several shots for fun. But I'm not shy to admit that I'm extremely bad at taking pictures.

So far, have done nothing for environmental science problem 2. Other than procrastinating. I feel a bit upset that I can't write more than 300 words for suicide and its consequences. I hate Turnitin, the prog the school uses to detect plagiarism. Scary to me.

I've yet to fully understand soil science and do my landscape design. Shall not wait like last time. Thank goodness this mon, there's no classes. I'm gonna have to catch my X-Men sometime later.

Can't wait for famine camp.

I don't understand why some people can't keep things to themselves. And why some get upset when I can't attend one day. So darn ridiculous. I can't do anything helpful you know.

Thank gawd for rickey.org

Snagged live version of Bad Day.

I feel better now.
