VISIT the beautiful SINGAPORE BOTANICAL GARDENS. Enjoy the lush greenery and fresh air. Take in the gorgeous view of the swan lake. just make sure to bring earmuffs along.
Yup. Today I accompanied the primary ones to the botanical garden! Oh what fun I thought. Turns out it was tiring too.
The children as usual were overly friendly, saying hello and hi to EVERY SINGLE person they saw at the gardens. I'm serious. And the caucasians were the ones who responded. NEVER the locals. I just smiled though. It was cute!
HOWEVER, they were loud and threw stones around. Had to tell them off. Furthermore, when they saw dogs, they ALL went barking. But the excitement was so infectious! They truly know how to appreciate nature. Okay, so most of them. They all scrambled t0 see the spider's web and kept looking out for spiders. They saw a terrapin and being kids, they called it a turtle. And they shouted excitely when they spotted the koi too. I think someone abandoned them there. Poor creatures...
Oh and the cute red squirrel.
Someone took their wedding photographs at the gardens. :)
However, my personal quest to find the 500 year old tembusu fell through. Couldn't find it but at least i saw the huge swans.
However, had to scold one or two who didn't listen to instructions or were difficult to handle. Really! Three of them wore their raincoats in the bloody hot weather and refused to take it off. Had to force them to do so. Sigh, I wonder what was going on in their heads! Maybe they wanted to show off? Hmm...
And their drawings were so cute! (and barely recognisable). haha :P
Truly, the trip was refreshing and brought out the inner child in me briefly. Hey, I can't let loose because if I do, who knows what will happen?! I mean if they can leave their bags, caps, pencil cases and worksheets behind, why can't they leave themselves too? *shudders*
Yup. On return, I had to return their books to those who left it in the office. They weren't allowed to bring it along to the trip. Good thinking. But now, we have a set of boy and girl uniform. -_-
So yeah, to anyone who were offended by my kids, sorry!

i yanked this off Regina's lj. :P
and I must say, I'm appalled! I'm NOT a neglected kid...I think. Overall the report is rather accurate but there are certain points that I find weird. Then there are some which I no longer have. Guess which ones they are...
The Questioner"I am affectionate and skeptical."Questioners are responsible, trustworthy and value loyalty to family, friends, groups and causes. Their personalities range broadly from reserved and timid to outspoken and confrontative.
How to get along with me:
Be direct and clear.
Listen to me carefully.
Don't judge me on my anxiety.
Work things thorough with me.
Reassure me that everything is OK between us.
Laugh and make jokes with me.
Gently push me to new experiences.
Try not to overreact to me overreacting.
What I like being a SIX:
Being committed and faithful to family and friends
Being responsible and hardworking.
Being compassionate towards others
Having intellect and wit.
Being a non-conformist.
Confronting danger bravely
Being direct and assertive
What's hard being a SIX
The constant push and pull involved in trying to make up my mind.
Procrastinating because of fear of failure; having little confidence in myself
Fearing of being abandoned or taken advantage of
Exhausting myself worrying and scanning for danger
Wishing I had a rule book at work so I could do everything right.
Being too critical of myself when I haven't lived up to my expectations.
SIXES as Children often:-
are friendly, likeable, dependable, sarcastic, bossy, stubborn, anxious, hyper vigilant; anticipate danger.
Forms a team of "us against them" with a best friend or a parent
Looks to groups or authorities to protect them
Questions authority and rebel
Are neglected or abused, come from unpredictable or alcoholic families, and/or take on the fearfulness of an overly anxious parent
Sixes as Parents
are often loving, nurturing and have a strong sense of duty
are sometimes reluctant to give their children independence
worry more than most that their children will get hurt
sometimes have trouble saying "No" and setting boundaries
You know you're a six if you have a enemies list and your name is the first one.
You know you're NOT a six if you never count change.
Take the fun and rather freaky test here:

Sorry for the lag of posts. I had promised myself to blog like at least once every two days but yeah, i'll admit here. I was lazy.
From Mon to Tues, i basically slacked (again). Rediscovered a virtual pet site and played it for a couple of hours then checked my mail and read stories online.
Wed, I was told to come down to help. Thank goodness! The kids were as usual, rambuctious, active tykes who just can't practise what they learn in theory. Or maybe i'm too slack with them? Everytime I get them from thier classes, they will make plenty of noise and then run to the LSP room. Ok, so it's mainly the boys. The girls? Sigh...they think they're out window shopping or something. They walk so damn slow, i have to tell them to quicken their pace.
Still, it's fun. They're learning colours for the p1s. And the p2s are learning about wishes. The p2s' wishes were so adorably cute. "What do you wish you can be?"
"An angel"
"A dinosaur"
"A pig."
"A bird"
"A princess. Uncle, you know any prince don't have princess? Then i go become princess."
"I want to be a witch"
How much cuter can you get? It's so fun to interact with them. They have rather wild ideas.
"Why do you want to be a dinosaur?"
"Because, because a dinosaur is big and can eat people!"
"Why do you want to be a pig?"
"I never say I want to be a pig!"
"Then, what do you wish you can be?"
"A pig."
Really, truly adorable. Of course, we STILL have strange things like kids coming to school for the first time. I had to test them on the alphabets and all. I'm rather disappointed that one of my students actually deproved. Haiz...
On Thurs, I got a break. The teacher had a private matter to attend to. I won't disclose the information here in fear of the ministry tracking me down and everything.
On Fri, i came back and helped with the preparations of the workshop. Did the posters and all. Then taught some of the kids one on one. In the afternoon, the p2s had their supplementary class. And I shall admit here. I TOTALLY can't control them. The teach in charge had to step in a couple of times. Truly, I feel so bad. I mean I can't take care of FOUR kids! Two overactive and two totally blur ones. I know it's such a demeaning word but seriously. They space out and then they have barely grasped basic english. They keep speaking in Mandarin. And since you know how horrendous my mandarin is...do the maths. but overall, the whole day was draining.
Oh yeah. I'm totally stuck on what to write. I prefer writing something that has a hint of realism in it and THUS, i stupid stupid go tackle the issue of male rape. And I feel compelled to do something about it. But thing is, male rape often goes unreported. Due to stigma, shame, insecurity about sexuality and a whole host of problems! I'm so tempted to take up the calling but I can't. Well, not yet. It's a specialised field. Oh well. Once i get the money, i'm so setting up support groups!
Oh yeah, back to me! (i'm being narcisstic but hey, this IS a blog!) I'm not sure how to proceed with the main character now. *shrugs* My muses will reveal it soon. Especially since I now have THREE reviews! *beams*
And how go you spell the color of white and black? the colour that results- grey or gray?
the correct answer is the first one. Yup. just mindless trivia i picked up from english with the p1s.
March 3 is coming up. I'm not v worried. Ok, screw me. I'm lying. I am fidgety and my mind is still clouded. What if Jc isn't for me? What if I get into jc and THEN start wondering the what ifs.
Haiz...truly, it's times like these that I really wish i know where I should REALLY go to succeed financially in life. Hey, I gotta think practical!
American Idol has once again made me scream "kayu". I think that Brenna deserves to be kicked out more. And poor Patrick Hall! I was rooting for you! Ok, and a whole string of others.
Jazz on sneakers is in town. The energetic jamie cullums is coming to singapore! I WANT to catch him! But I can't. Money's tight. :(
Need my beauty sleep now. Toodles!

I just watched a local short film. I know it's bad to criticise a late person's life but yeah, I just think the real person shouldn't have committed suicide just because the guy he likes rejected him. *shakes head* I apologise if i hurt anyone's feeling with what I write.
The film can be viewed here.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EIvBX4iWxlUHOWEVER, do note that it contains homosexuality. But sorry, no funny stuff like explicit exchange of bodily fluids. (unlike the gay footballers one which i'm trying to find) Heck, the only thing it has is a "kiss". It's not really one lah. You get what I mean if you have to pass a grape with your mouth. And yes, it's locally produced. Kudos to the people involved.
However, the film also struck a nerve in me. You know, if not for several people, I don't think I might be here today, typing this. It's something I'm not particularly proud of but yeah, I'm thankful there are people who threw me the line when I was drowning. Esp Jules. :)
There is more to life. It's just that when a person wants to commit suicide, it's because the person cannot cope with his problem. Or something like that. Wait, here...read this BEFORE you reconsider that option.
http://www.metanoia.org/suicide/Ok, ok. Knowing me, i'll start on my wonderfully mindless stuff. :)
I LOVE the ice dancing routine! Hehe. I thank Channel 5 for providing excellent coverage of the dances. I just love the whole thing! The costumes, the music, the atmosphere, the steps, the sexiness, the everything!
Haha. Can't wait for tomorrow's final component. I'm betting my moolah on Russia!
Anyways, my story got a review! Oh yeah...and guess what? It's from one of my favourite online author! it's kind of like having your petition signed by say Bill Clinton! I was so damn happy I didn't sleep until an hour later.
Counting down the day to Mar 3 and Mar 6. I can't believe Jon Steward's gonna be the host!I can't wait for the Oscars! Ok, it's mainly because I want to see Brokeback Mountain win!
Btw the dutch editor regrets his mistake. That's an apology to me. So just FUCKING stop the senseless violence on the streets. I mean come on, how the hell is KFC responsible for something that the Dutch paper did? And I found out that there's a tit for tat movement. You boyycott Dutch products, do know that there are people who are buying Dutch products in bulk. Bleh. How many butter cookies can you handle before you puke? Seriously, let' s stop the childish games and just buy things as normal. Or your perception of normal.
And to all protestors: PLEASE STOP THROWING FOOD STUFF LIKE EGGS AND TOMATOES. Throw rotten ones by all means because no one should eat them. Fresh or not yet expired producst should NEVER be thrown! Especially those of you in countries where your fellow countrymen have difficulties finding food! Give the food to them! Don't waste food! And those who live in well to do countries, it still isn't any excuse. Food is NOT a suitable projectile. And pebbles are painful if you accidentally hit someone. No rocks either. SO I therefore urge you to just stop throwing things. Oh yeah. Protest for all I care but there are better ways like petition, silent protests where everyone wears something similar. Don't scream and shout. You'll lose your voice! Sing like the protestors of the Vietnam War before you.
"GIVE PEACE A CHANCE!"
and do me a favour. Do this for me. i believe that as humans, in order to better ourselves, we must know our weaknesses and combat them the best way we can. So I need to know mine.

See? I told you so...
Yup. The whole brooha about parents no 3 (no, teachers are no 2. or one...not sure) aka men in blue have garnered an overwhelming support from the public. Haiz...Yet what I DON'T like is the fact that they keep using bloody america as a comparision. Ok, I'm guilty of that too but yeah. So WHAT if amrican teens can't go to the malls before 4? Thing is, what time do they START school? End school? Let the figures speak for themselves yeah? Not to mention have we ever heard of shopping malls in singapore complaining to the media about how teenagers wreck havoc in their stores or crap like that? Hmm...don't think so? Haiz...looks like a teen in singapore actually has 3 years to look forward to now...4 if youre' a biological guy. I know...it's unfair.
The ages to look forward to are: 16, 17, 18, 21. (add 19 if you're studying an extra year or for whatever reason)
Ok, so back to the usual daily crap i churn out. I LOVE figure-skating...so graceful and I envy the guys' butts. They have nice butts...Mine? :(
I just thought that the canadian should have at least gotten 2nd. (ok,i'm biased because he's model-cute).
It's been raining helter-skelter (hey, i've not used that since...sec 2!) and I'm bored. MTV has crappy shows like Viva La Bam. I don't understand how it's funny. If you want to see anger, I say, boiling point is SO much better. (not to mention bitchier)ARGH! At least, highschool stories nice since it's inspiring.
I've posted my 2nd chapter of my novel . I won't tell you where it is but if you use your brains, you'll find it for sure. A certain someone tells me my style is very typical of Singaporean writers. And thus I'm upset. Well, not really. Just that I now know that I'm not v good.
So, here are some movies that are must see.
1) Brokeback Mountain. Drag your man if you have to. It'll change people! Ok, so they'll leave the theatre weeping.
2)Walk the line
3) Matchpoint
4) X-Men (May...better start countdown. I'm GRABBING ALL Angel figurines ASAP)
5) Pirates of the Caribbeans. (July. Jack Sparrows back!)
6) Superman RETURNS (June. I know. crappy title but exciting premise. For those perv, Brandon's supposedly hung...hmm. Pretend I didn't type that)
7) Mission Impossible 3 (May4. the trailers nice but i hate tom cruise. the guy's deranged)
8) The Da Vinci Code (May. Let's see if print to screen works...)
9) Eragon. (Dec. Again same thing. But the lead boy's cuter and hotter than daniel radcliffe. Thank god. i can't stand that guy! he's fugly!)
10) The lake house (dunno when. I'm watching because it's the return of Keanu and Sandra since Speed. the chemistry...ooo la la. Based on a korean movie. And let' s see how hollywood messes things up. sometimes thye make it better...)
11) Sin City 2. (Aug. DEFINATELY R21. i guess the main draw for testerones-high boys is Jessica Alba)
12) Ice Age 2: The Meltdown (Mar. Definately for the family)
Better start saving...
And hell.
The top 7 gay anthems are:
7)Man, i feel like a woman
6) It's raining men. Eww...gross. If it's money on the other hand...
5) Fighter. Oooo angsty song with rock element
4) Can't Get you out of my head. And yes, the song really stucks to your head.
3)YMCA. Don't ask. Just is.
2)Beautiful. Ooooo I just LOVE this song. It's inspiring!
1) I WILL SURVIVE
*starts singing ina horrible off-tune note*
Ok, Ok, I'll stop. But yeah. I LOVE that song.
No other song will do. :)
Talking about songs, I'm joyful all my favourite contestants are in the final 24. Woohoo!
I have a soft spot for anyone who can carry off a rat pack tune. Oh and Paris. Her voice is amazing!
Too bad the cute and adorable little cowboy got out...Someone track him down and give hima great big hug! haha.
Ok, so I totally cannot stand it when my mum keeps thinking that i'm typing rubbish everytime she hears the keyboard on overdrive. Bleh. Like hello?! And she says i scream at her. Ha! The house is empty and i'm loud. And you say I scream?! ARGH! Typical parent dialogue supposedly goes like this: Don't type rubbish!
Ever heard YOUR parents say that?!
Haiz...why can't every parent just cut us some slack and trust us more?
sorry. Maybe it's the whole parents in blue that upsets me more.

Ok, I WAS going to do a critique of the recent slew of anticipated premieres but later. We've got more pressing issues to bring up. Today's HOT news...The police have announced that they will from now on be our parents. Yup. Not the uber cool ones but the ones who you think need to losen up abit.
Yes. THEY have imposed a "curfew" of 11pm for ALL under 17. (thank god, I'm 17! Wait...that's like three months time!!! ARGH!) WTF!
Yup. They say that they will take down particulars and send letters to your parents if they catch you outside after 11 without your parents or relatives who definately need to be 17 and above. Or else it'll be two for the price of one.
Seriously, don't the policemen have something BETTER to do like patrol carparks and whatnots then to check up on us? I just think it's plain ridiculous. Furthermore, it also highlights the fact that most parents don't trust us. *rolls eyes*
I mean this is SUPPOSED to be your parents/guardian's job! NOT the men in blue.
Why I think it's ridiculous? Ever noticed how concerts, plays, supper with friends often end AFTER 11? Not to mention those midnight screenings and what have you. Sure, Singapore's a city that sleeps but we're progressing towards a 24 hr hub aren't we?
Furthermore, it raises this alarming issue. If you suay suay kena as you're on the way to catch the last bas/mrt ride, will they have the courtesy to bring you home? wait, scratch that. THAT will causes countless problems that may break you.
Kind of like this...
police:"Excuse me, sir/maam..."
Parent:"Yes..."
(sees child and freaks out)
"You worthless fool! You're a shame to us!" OR "Why?! Why you do this to me?!Why you take drugs?!
Police: Erm...no sir/maam...
Parent: WHAT! You rape some poor girl ar?! You no brain! OR Aiyoh, why you go steal?! We never give you money is it!
Police: Sir, maam...your son/daughter was out on the streets after 11pm. We had to bring him/her home because he/she missed the last ride home.
Parent: Oh...
You: (in tears)
Neighbours: (whispers) Aiyoh, see, see...got molester...got rapist...aiyah, I thought what only! Eh, really ar? He got rape girl ar? Aiyoh, cannot let my ah girl go to school alone...
*********
See how ridiculous it will ALL be? It's possible since Singaporeans are generally a kaypoh, kiasu sort of person who will jump to the wrong conclusions quickly. Maybe it's because of the negative conotation associated with being sent home by the man in blue? (if your bf's one, then that's a WHOLE different story...)
But we can't have a one-sided view can we? According to the police, it's because of rising crimes against teens that occur at night. -_- Like it doesn't occur in broad daylight.
It's to keep our teens safe! Don't make me laugh. Chances are, most teens would have ALREADY told their family member/s that they are going out. With cell phones usage on the continual rise, you can just call them up right?
If you're going out, please take care of your valuables. There. If it occurs to you, then you suay lah. Or you did something bad recently. (argh. Karma...you do good and it takes years to reap the benefits. You do something bad, it's almost instantaneous *hey, that rhymes*)
Argh. I'm tempted to start a petition but who the hell cares about petition nowadays?!
So yup. No more late nights. You have been warned. Well, unless we can get every teen to go down to orchard and hold a concert or something that starts at 11...what will they do? Take down everyone's particulars in the name of justice?! Don't make me laugh.
I'm actually thankful I now have another point to add to my list of reasons why I should leave Singapore ASAP. And still trying to save up.
Haiz...Ok. Now as promised. The reviews from a couch potato wannabe.
1) Desperate housewives or DH
The premise of the new season is highly-anticipated and justly so. I'm hooked because of two reasons. I want to know if mediacrop will crop out any justin/andrew parts out. What? You didn't know Andrew's bi? If only they didn't censor last season's part. (which they did so badly btw) you would have gotten a nice scene of the two lovebirds in the pool being found by Susan. Shocked, Andrew quickly stops kissing his bf and says "I'm NOT gay!" And the other scene before he went to military school..."I just happen to like BOTH chocolate and vanilla." (he's bi if you're that blur)
Oh and of course, to see who is the caged man in the basement. Won't peek at the website unless I missed it.
2) CSI season 6
my favourite CSI gang is back. After the horrifying season 5 finale, grave danger, we'll see how it may have affected Nick Sanders. Not to mention see how Catherine and Warrick will proceed. It's freakin obvious that they like each other but Ricky just HAD to get hitched! ARGH!
Oh...and see how Nick and Greg will go on. You know how they say that once you're in love, you practically share a closet? Or something to that extent...Anyways, looks like it ain't just clothes they share (like in season 2 with the fugly brown shirt). This time, it's the HAIR! Those two should just get hitched already! (IRL too. I'm NOT kidding. The evidence is so overwhelming, the slash fans have a hard time compiling it all up! And make cute little icons)
Oh and Sara and Grissom. And not to mention the occasional glimpses of the cute AV tech, Archie. Damn. Where else but in Vegas will you get beautiful people working behind the scenes? Ok, so...NY too. Ha. I'm gonna gloat and gloat because I got to catch season 6 before those without cable! Not to mention, Channel 5's utterly slow. They are still on Miami final season. Not sure if Timmy's death was a good thing or not...there's Ryan Wolfe...Cuter but stupider.
3) Let's see, Lost will be shown soon. I can't wait for AXN's Lost marathons. It's FAR better than Channel's 5 once a week screening. Can't believe Boone's dead. I miss those gorgeous eyes. Admit it! You envy them too!
Yeah...I'm watching tons and tons of tv. I'm getting my brain addled but it's worth it I think. Get cable. You'll thank me later.
Btw, I'll be posting my top 5 best gay anthems (hard though)soon but since V-day is over...
Here's my top 3 most cleverest thing to do AFTER V-day.
1) Go to the gym. All those sinful goodies don't just end up on your kips, they go RIGHT down to your hips. For those with high metabolism, don't worry. Keep feasting. It's a gift so why not use it? I know I do.
2) Water those roses/flowers. They need to live! And they brighten up the room. Or heed your inner Martha. Make potpourri or some frame or whatever. And give it back on the person's birthday or christmas.
3) Start saving. Things aren't cheap you know. You've splurged on others. Now it's time for self-indulgence. Even if you didn't spend anything, just save up. Gap and Banana Republic's opening soon and Topshop will have their own in-house stylist.
I am beautiful no matter what they say...
If I'm ugly, then so are you. So are you...

Today's mindless trivia : Barbie started being sold on the 13th.
And It seems Ken's not gay?! (or is he a closetted in denial gay?)
Anyways, yeah. Ken has got two new looks. one rockish image and the other a return to his beach boy roots. yup. Everything except the fake accent and personalities. Bleh. I'm waiting to see him decked in designer clothes like Zegna or Polo Ralph or Armani. THEN i'll go grab one. Or drop hints to get it for my birthday. Haha. Like I have the space for more dolls/figurines. My drawers already bursting and my poor Action Man dolls severely neglected.
Hmm...Currently, I'm working on a short drabble on the religion of money. Well, trying to anyways.
I've found a very delightful and humorous highlight to look forward to everyday. It's called the stupid malaysians' poll. *rolls eyes* I'm serious. I didn't know whether to laugh at the sheer stupidity or to be concerned.
Here's a sample poll they conducted about two days ago.
What is your opinion of the malaysian rambutans being marketted as Singaporean lychees?
I want our neighbours to apologise. I will boycott Singapore products. (i forgot what the other two options were)
Now, let me ask the singaporeans. have you EVER heard of such a controversy? Chances are you'll be scraching your head. (are you sure you don't have dandruff?)
I mean COME ON! Are we dumb enough to NOT know what a rambutan is? And what a lychee is?! how the hell can one get confused?
I mean it's damn obvious you have a rambutan on your hand if you have a red, hairy fruit with a firm white flesh. and a lychee if it's a brownish-tannish fruit with a translucent flesh? Even an angmoh will know!
Furthermore, I would agree with the guy quoted in ST today. What the hell do we get if we market their products as ours? Hell, we ALREADY have a problem with people misusing our brand name. How many times have you gone overseas and seen things like "Singaporean Chicken Rice" or Singaporean noodles and wondered what the hell?
Seriously, I just think that the media across the causeway should know better than to stir up controversy and ill-founded hate. And those Danish imams who ADDED three OTHER cartoons to further stir up hate. What the hell is wrong with religious extremist? Btw, if you're one of those stupid idiots boycotting danish products, I want you to do one thing for me. Go outside, eat grass and bleat. Yup. Cos you're a mindless LAMB!
What the hell do you get when you boycott products? Did you think you're doing the world any good? And the Danes...haiz. Can't you just apologise along with that dumbass editor?
Let this be a good lesson for everyone. Sure, we can have freedom of speech but it has to be exercised with excellent judgement. Think before you speak!
oh yeah. Today's an unnusually boring V-day. After three wonderful years, I'm starting to understand why many hate it. We don't get free sweets and chocolates and the like!
Oh, I remember how I would go to school early in the morning and make my rounds, placing sweets and chocolates on everyone's table and then writing my message on the white board since not many were in school yet. (with the exception of the guys who hang out in the dark)
Then once I return, my table won't be empty as gifts were exchanged. I liken it to an early Christmas sans the mistletoe, stockings and pine trees. I'll get more sweets, chocolates, sourveniours like a paperweight, finger puppets, cards, letters and the like. And we wish one and all a very happy Valentine. Gawd, I really miss those days in Anderson. We're like the few, if not only school with such a tradition. Not sure if the juniors continued with this traditionlah...
it's just that this year, I don't get to enjoy it. lol. A part of me dislikes it but the other is rather content. (but more towards bored. There's nothing special on tv like a top 40 most awesome love songs or something like that. No, the Torino Games don't count. Hurling's fun to play, but not to watch. Figure skating was in the morning; clashing with Oprah.)
Argh. So to save money (ok, I'll admit, I'm broke),
here's wishing one and all Happy V-or Friendship-or-singles-appreciation-or-hallmark-or-whatver-you-call-it Day!
Ps. I've already filled in my Form A. Have you? You have until tmr 5pm to do so.

Ok, firstly apologies to anyone who I've upset yesterday. Well, considering I was sick AND bloody upset I didn't get the results I wanted, what do you expect? A sweet innocent little tyke? Try cranky old hag.
Anyways, I took a whole lot of time to calm down. Solitude works wonders...
Still, for those of you who are curious, I got 17.
My biggest upsets were: Lit and Chem.
My A got transferred to another subject for lit. I got an effin 3! I mean come on! Where the fuck did I go wrong?!
Chem? I was hoping to get at least c5 like in my prelims. Hell no. I dropped I grade down. -_-
Still, I wasn't as upset over this as I was over lit, my baby.
The shockers? : HML and german.
I scored BETTER for HML than for normal! WTF! I got A2!
Still, nothing compared to german. When i saw the results, I actually shouted oh my fuck or something to that extent. I just remembered saying the word Fuck. Yup. I was bloody shocked.
I got a totally unexpected B4. Danke Schoene Frau Heng!
I'm thankful for my pride and soul, English.
Still, the overall was rather shocking. I was in a daze as people around me were calling and laughing or crying. Hell, i wanted to cry too but I couldn't. Not sure why...
Now, that the whole affair is over, I'm in a dire fix.
Sure, I can get into a jc and study lit. (hurray!)
BUT i had ALWAYS wanted to study botany since primary 3. And guess what? i just found out I can.
Seriously...now I have to choose one or the other. I'm totally confused.
Still, congrats to all.

I hate it when I fall sick right before an exam or the results. Let's just say, I myself know that it's a pattern. I had fever when teh PSLE results were out. Now, I have a bloody irritating cough and flu. Bleh. Everytime i cough, I feel as though the very next cough will have blood. And I can't breathe well and sometimes I panic when i wake up and I can't find tissues. (yeah, I am a weee bit paranoid)
I just hope it all clears up by tmr! Seriously, I really miss the kids. Not to mention the whole able to breathe issue.
Even if the Grammys are on tmr, I don't care! I just wanna get well!!!
Btw, I'm terribly ecstatic that Jaclyn Victor won APM 05 with Gemilang. Thank goodness that ugly Mawi guy didn't win. I'm biased I might admit but seriously, that guy has no singing abilities whatsoever! And it was shocking that Hazami won best vocals. I thought that should have gone to EITHER Jac or Ning Baizura. And best performance went to the guy who makes me feel like puking. My goodness. What were they thinking?! That should have gone to several others far more deserving than Mawi. Yucks.
Anyways, I wish I have the money to watch The constant gardener, matchpoint and of course walk the line. I'm flat broke.
i have to part with my hair soon. Oh the agony of having your precious tresses being butchered. If I EVER make it to adulthood, I'm SO growing my hair till shoulder length. Or at least like Adrien Brody. :) I love that type of hairstyle. And I'm so colouring my hair once I turn 21. Yeah...lol. I'm still deciding where to go and here i am making potential decisions when I turn 21.
for those who want to know what i'm selecting, I'm aiming to take lit h2 AND h3, maths h1, econs h2 and...not sure if i want hist h2 or chem h2. Is there EVEN such a combi? But one thing's for sure. I'm saying goodbye to malay for good. Call me a deserter for all I care. I love english more.
damn. here's a nice warning. DO NOT read joy's blog if you are those with a very fetile imagination. Here vivid dream has the potential to make you freak out. i know I did.
Yup. The O's are back with a vengeance.
Here's a guide to prepare your own "the O's levels results" survival kit.
1) water bottle. (you'll get thirsty waiting and after that talking)
2) a personal entertainment system. That may be your handphone or your PDAs or your mp3s. you HAVE to sit until your butt's sore, listening to some crap. Or you can just get yourself a book)
3)tissues. (for all those crying moments)
4) cameras (for that final snapshot of the gang of friends you made in school or whatever)
5) HANDPHONE. (to spread the word to your families. Or your friends in other schools)
6) report book (It'll come in handy when you want to keep your slips intact and not crumpled like maths worksheets)
7) Friend/s for support. Teachers will do fine if you're the teachers' pets.
8) And whatever else you deem fit to bring.
Disclaimer note: I am not whatsoever responsible if your things get lost or confiscated. Or spoilt. Just remember to stay vigilant.

Gawd, i can hear sme kid playing Eldeweiss loudly on the recorder...bleh. Bad emperience with music.
Anyways, yesterday really turned out to be a colourful day for sure. Let's see, I actually took over a class but gave up after like 10 mins. Why? Because the kids were playing around. They were practically mimicking whatever i say.
Kind of like...
"SO, IE is.."
"So, IE is..."
"Children..."
"Children..."
Haiz...I guess I totally cannot teach to save my life. Well, one on one is okay, not a group. :)
Not to mention i didn't even dare to scold them or even threaten them to stay quiet. They are so damn adorable and innocnet-looking. NOW i know what they mean by puppy dog eyes...
Anyways, on my way back home, the kids were ALSO on the way. And guess what? One of them ACTUALLY CHASED me. It's funny to think of it. I was rather on a hurry and the boy was with his father. THEN I heard someone running behind me. Then he suddenly popped up beside me and asked me something in MANDARIN! ARGH! My mandarin is damn lan lah. So yeah, I tried to converse with him the best that I could. Then we walked all the way to the MRT walkway. And I kind of left him there to wait for his father. That boy RAN remember?
So yeah. I went back home and got ready for dinner. Chin Yue smsed me saying that his cca was over and he had nothing to do. Siow yi? Asleep. Oh well...
reached bishan and Frau heng saw me. lol. She seriously looks thinner that I remember! *shrugs*
THEN I met Chin yue at Watsons. Found out he just came back from gym conditioning or something because he's in swimming.
then walked around aimlessly since swenson had a damn long queue. THEN found out the rest were at some shop selling this novelty pet...haha crabs aka hermit crabs. I don't know WHY people pay $25 for two little crabs! I can get mine for free at the sea!
Then went rounding around to find somewhere without a queue. FAT hope. ALL restaurants were packed! Yet we still queued at swenson. But I guess some people just can't wait...you should know who you are...wasted man. Cos we ACTUALLY managed to sit together!
Ordered fish and chips. Oh and I bothered darryl with his mushrooms. teehee. The mushrooms were okay but I think it's like a 4.5 out of a ten?
Earthquakes were on the house. Well, technically Frau Heng's. Caught up on a whole lot of things and took photos. haha. I wonder how many shots were taken of me eating in the background?
Shared the ice-cream with Chin Yue, Rosie and Zhang Yun. But i must say, lime sherbet is a weird flavour...
And we stayed until closing time, just talking and talking. And a wee bit of gossiping. ;)
And thus we end our reunion dinner. haha. reached home at 12. was so damn tired that the TV watched me instead.
Better pass the message. We'll have dinner another time together. I do hope this may turn out to be an annual event or something. :)
And Frau Heng's PROMISED it'll be at Marche.
So get your money ready. (it'll be expensive)

Ok, before i start on what I did today, let me say I spent CNY on the beach. Well, that and feasting at Jalan Kayu. I've started to better appreciate the beach. But on thing's for sure. I ain't EVER swimming in Pasir Ris' waters. During a very very low tide, we could explore the muddy shore exposed. It was fascinating the myriad of sea creatures there! Saw tiny hermit crabs, prawns, normal baby crabs and best bit? Tons and tons of sea urchins! ARGH! Gawd, I'm so thankful I wore slippers man!
Wanted to catch Coyote Ugly but couldn't because my father went a wee bit mad...I'm just gonna convince myself it's work-related stress he brought back home. Goodness, i wonder if people actually realise that they should just stop doing that! But then again, I guess many of us have no choice. Time waits for no man.
I was supposed to return helping out on wed but I didn't get the notice. I felt so damn guilty! But I guess everything has a silver lining. I ACTUALLY completed Chapter ONE of my ____(lost count after the countless crash and burn attempts) novelle. Too bad I won't tell you where it is. :P
So today I sat in for classes AGAIN but only AFTER I finished testing the pri 2 kids. You WON'T believe how poor some of them are! I thought they would be better after a year but still. I currently have at least two dylexic students. Maybe more...
and one with speech impairment problem or something and of course one more ADHD. He's rather naughty but you know what they say...naughtiness duirng hcildhood is a sign of intelligence. Or maybe not...since I'm actually helping the slow learners.
I don't understand how the hell students can just come in NOW! For crying out loud- it's like FEB! Shouldn't be they be in from jan? Headache man! Not to mention the constant updating of data and stuff. Thank goodness for word's easy application. Or else...*rolls eyes*
Seriously, I think the school might as well declare itself as some international school. Why? They have china, mongolian, japanese, indian and an angmoh girl. Haven't had a chance to speak to her. I guess tomorrow I shall do so and find out where she is. The china born students actually get excited when one of them said he came from beijing. THEN the others started conversing in mandarin, saying stuff like, "REALLY?! I've NEVER SEEN YOU BEFORE!" to funny stuff like "I like duck." -_-. Seriously. "I like duck?" Hmm...I totally don't see the connection here! Anyone care to come up with some theory to explain this?
Still, I can't help but look forward to it. The kids are extremely fun to be with. Not to mention energetic. Not to mention they are adorable, cute, polite, sweet little devilish angels.
If you read Mind body or something like that on wed, (it's the one that comes with ST), under myopia, there's a picture of one of my favourite students! :) He's so cute right?
Oh, I've started liking this band called Cold. Well, just ONE song of theirs. Different Kind of Pain. I LOVE it. I even sing it in the showers...well, i'm exxagerating of course. I sing opera in the showers but you get the message.
Tomorrow i have a dinner with my ex-classmates of G4C. Wonder how everyone is...Haiz...supposed to go Marche but now swensons. Oh well. ICE-CREAM! But I havne't even prepared any V-day things! Heck, I haven't even started the budget and stuff. Gawd, it's times like this that make you wish oprah's helping you. She's my idol!
Oh btw, I'm terribly upset Paheli didn't get the nod from the Oscars! instead I get Joyuex Noel or something like that. Oh well. At least Ang Lee's nominated for best director. Brokeback mountain nominated for best movie. I guess this year's Oscars are rather predictable. Except for a couple of close competitions like Felicity Huffman and Resee Witherspoon. Even I can't decide!
and can someone just mail John williams the bloody oscars already?! He practically won it already! Don't waste valuable airtime! I want to see the dresses! Yup, the inner fashionista in me is screaming to be let out.
Seems like feb 6 WON'T be the day results will be released. BUT results are likely to be out on 10 OR 13!!!
Shit.
Here's to hoping I can ace it. Oh and good luck to those participating in Chingay!
