Can't believe I was absolutely shagged yesterday i was dead by 9. (Could be earlier for all I know - lost all sense of time!)

Anyways, to update, on Wednesday I had this module called Sports and Wellness. Essentially PE. Bleh. Firstly, confession time! I've skipped some PE lessons by staying in class...okay, I did it like twice. Which was very, very unbecoming and bad due to my post. If not, I would have been at the bball courts, gossipping and watching the guys kick a ball around with Xiang Wang, Wenfeng, Linh, Tran, Jacintha and Farhana. Goodness, I miss those times...

I'm digressing - for this module, we had to choose a sport. Since space was limited, I'm rather thankful I managed to score a seat in badminton. I would have just shrivelled up and died if I got into soccer or basketball by default. You know what's strange? That basketball was the most unpopular sport. I thought it was a popular sport but I guess wrong. You should have seen it! Three entire rows, fully dedicated for basketball empty and all the other seats filled with people mulling around, desperate to find a seat.

Had this module called CATS. I'm uncertain if it has some of its roots in IPW. I hope it goes well though - I dread a repeat of brainwashing. Oh yes, to those unlucky p6 in my pri sch, I bid you all the best and pray that you get out with your brain intact.

Thursday was just hilarious. Had an ultra dry lecture concerning plant maintance (which has little to do with plant TAXONOMY). Then followed Loy, Minyi, (who have thus attained sisterhood! Bwahaha. Two more to add to my list of...wait. How many do I have now? Can't be bothered to count now. Too early to think - it's 5.30!) and Charlie's Angels. (Alisa, Clara and Jaclyn) to Holland V. Managed to hold a very colourful discussion. Hehe.

Took a cab to Botanic Gardens because we couldn't find the bus stop. To make matters worse, we found ourselves hopelessly lost at the Gardens! *facepalms* Sanity was thrown out the window as we tried to find the damn school of horticulture. Come on, don't we need signs too?
We were sweating profusely, our legs ached, (my tummy rumbled) and the sun was just being evil to us. I swore I was about to collapse. In the end, we just waited for the class to get us. (All the time, I was of course, panicky; we were late like no tomorrow after all) Thankfully it's the last Thursday during the fasting month. One more similar day and I would have been in a comatose state.

Yesterday was perhaps, the worse lessons ever - computer lessons! Sure, I adore comp lessons, particularly when Mr Chua was teaching but now...argh. I just can't stand the roly poly guy who doesn't seem to have a strand of kindness within; shall not elaborate further. Perhaps, I'll tell you face to face but hey, I may have forgotten all about it. Anyways, toyed around with Adobe Illustrator and MS Word/Excel. I like using Adobe Illustrator but come on, his pace was rather slow; okay, slow was an understatement. MS however was rather perplexing. Who in the world would use MailMerge in real life? Not me for sure. Still, useful skill to pick up. Now I just pray Amirul can find his CD and contact me before Wed.

After lessons, headed to PS. It was a blast with Loy and Minyi! Went to Daizo and this new shop (which I totally adore). It sells papers! (That looked so retarded! but it's true.) Loy left to meet his friend at Tampines so Minyi and I went to some other shops. I saw The End (the last book in A series of unfortunate events) and I freaked on the inside. I read a few pages but it just didn't made sense to me. And of course, read parts of Jason Hahn's book; he's my favourite columnist for 8days. I loved it so much, I think I'm gonna buy it. But only after I finish reading my borrowed books. (Currently, I'm 3/4 way done with Die Leiden des jungen Werther otherwise translated as The Sorrows of Young Werther)

Headed to Carrefour after John Little and Marks and Spencer. I guess my sense of direction was ueber bad - I didn't find the escalator heading downwards until Minyi asked someone.

It was just hilarious as we played with the hats and masks. And Minyi scared a passing customer just by turning her head! The grotesque masks were really freaky...can't help it but I kept thinking of RL Stein's story about the Haunted Mask. It was about a mask that would assimilate itself to you. I was so relieved each time the masks came off. I know, dumb Khairul but hey, can't help if imagination takes its hold on you.

Since today is the festival of lights, I wish EVERYONE

HAPPY DEEPAVALLI!

And no, I won't post pictures Gerome. I have no idea how you came here but yeah. I'm a writer, not a photog! Though I wish I was...
