I want to say that this week was a wondrous, life changing experience and what nots but truthfully, I can't even remember my week. Other than wednesday in which we had to construct some model using straws, sticks and tape. Of course, we took more than given. After all, when the opportunity arises, grab them!

Wait... I'm starting to remember (and feeling like an ancient man of 73 or something). Oh yes, On Wed, had the first G4C gathering of the year! Headed to MOELC and met up with Rosie, who's doing fine in AJ. Later Frau Heng joined us. I miss her! :) Talked about poly, ghosts etc; really, really surprising topic starters.

Despite persistent pleading from Liesel, all we managed to do was to get Fr Heng to drive us to J8. Oh well. Another time perhaps. The guys like Kaiyi, Jun Kai, Andreas had to walk under the rain.

It was truly memorable in that we cancelled the swenson booking, didn't manage to find a seat in any fast food outlets etc. Liesel suggested having an outdoor conference which didn't go down so well with some people. In the end, we finally settled down at Food Junction.

Now, here's the REALLY awesome part. The Lord (Lok's new title given by Fr Heng) and a couple others started to rearrange tables and chairs, making this ultra long dining table to fit some 15 people or so. Of course the seating arrangements were really nice. *wink wink* I still don't understand why some people would choose to keep their relationships secret when all of us know about it.

I really, really enjoyed myself a lot that night - perhaps it may be the penultimate time we meet again. Next year, most of the guys we'll bid farewell as they do their part for the country. I know things will drastically change from then on. And for some others, they may depart for the shores of others or their own (if the passports have anything to say about it). All things change, like the surroundings in Bishan. Indeed, many places that contain precious memories are gone. I know change is inevitable in Singapore but I just wish that they could retain certain places - I'm already starting to feel like an alien in my own homeland. This sense of alienation is not unique to any one country but rather, IMHO it's just more pronounced in small, developing countries like ours. Is it of any wonder why migration still occurs?

I'm digressing. So back to my mundane existence on this pitiless planet. I've been doing OH (open house for those of you who can't figure it out) since Thurs and haven't been able to touch my notes for the gazillion tests on mon onwards. Bleh. I'll just end stuff here and will TRY to remember more about what happened in a week's time. Well, I hope anyways.

Jaeho is love right Reg?
