Ok, so now that i'm rather subdued, I shall start on my trips.

But first, a huge apology goes out to my best friends. Sorry I couldn't make it and had to cancel the whole trip. I was sick.

Now, on the 23, I went to batam (even though i was still recovering). You must think I'm nuts right? Oh when we reached the ferry ticketting counter, we were told my passport was about to expire. SO we actually rushed to ICA building and rushed back again to catch a ferry. It was damn hilarious come to think of it. When I was in the ferry, I was petrifieeeeeed *cue I will survive song*

I mean it was like my first trip on a ferry that didn't just sail Singapore waters but went beyond.I had silly thoughts of the ferry being attacked by pirates or the ferry would sink ala Titanic.I know, I know. PARANOID! haha.

Batam. One would instantly think of young nubile girls selling their flesh right? Guess again! I didn't even SAW one!!! Or maybe it was wrong timing? Hmm...

Reached Batam shores safely and saw a couple of ads which was hilarious!!!

"MALBOROS. PERFECTIONIST IN TOBACCO.
Tobacco can kill you."

yes, they were on the SAME ad. Now that's WHAT I call effective advertising!

The roads in batam was plain scary! I mean there were some roads with NO lines and vehicles just overtook whenever they could.

Yet the meal there was fabulous! spent S$100 on seafood. Oh well. It was worth it anyways. But then I developed a rash on my hands after leaving the place...Not sure if it was the soap or the seafood I ate. ARGH!!! Just when I turn out to be allergic to something other than dust, I can't place a finger on what the hell triggered it!

Came back with several bargains. Supposed to return in the afternoon but in the end, caught the last ferry home. And never was I happier to be back home!

Only to leave in about three hours time. Found out my sis downloaded freaking kazaa. *rolls eyes* I was so damn pissed off with her. Tried to remove it but it seems it's getting harder and harder to erase with every new edition. Rushed to my uncle's with my stuff and it got to me. I was like on AMAZING RACE!!! haha.

Didn't sleep until four in the car, on the way to KL. Singapore is just plain too much. I mean sure you have to be resilient and all but to ask for IC AND vehicle number when the driver has not changed and the car is in front of you? ARGH! The guy truly got on everyone's nerves.

THIS MORNING I WOKE UP WITH ONE NERVE AND YOU"RE STEPPING ON IT!!!

The trip was long but I barely remember it. Because I was asleep. We checked in at around ten and had breakfast. The egg prata was scrumptious! Not to mention large...

Then headed to times square to meet another family. Went to the indoor theme park. The first twirlee ride was FUN but the NEXT ride was plain frightening. I think I screamed to the verge of losing ym voice permanently. So did you think I was ready to ride the roller coaster? Haha.

No.

The bumper cars were fun but short. Not to mention I kept bumping against the wall and stupidly saying sorry for bumping into another person...I know, I know. THAT's the WHOLE point but I guess it's habit. Tried to stop saying sorry but it just kept popping out.

Took several other rides but I loved the ride that resembled the carlsberg towere in sentosa. Goes all the way up and spins and then goes down...

Had lunch and then went to the arcade while some people went to the Q-box. -_- Does karaoke start with Q? I don't think so...

The arcade was ok but I had more fun watching peopl play then playing myself. I mean I SUCK at racing and shooting. But I had had no trouble looking at the way the teens were dressed. I don't know whether to laugh or cry. The guys were STILL wearing TAPERED!!! oh gawd, guys, wake up. Those jeans were SO yesteryear!!! hahahahahahahahaha!!!

Then saw some para-para obsessed people...sure, they danced fine and all but seriously to go as FAR as to dress like the character on the screeen? Classic!!!

Then headed to IMEX theatre to catch T-REX. The show was ok but plain tiring to the eyes....

Oh and I later found out that I ain't the ONLY one who isn't going to Jc first 2/3 mths...:P Does it run in the family? I so have got to find out...

The next day, went shopping at masjid india. Technically, my grandparents were doing it. in the end, we split up and us kids went to the pool instead of continuing the trek.
And we went to chinatown, my FAVOURITE place to shop. Strangely, I got more annoyed at the people than shopping that I hardly bargained or shopped. well, I still grabbed a lot of tees and a pair of shoes but hell I think I couldn have done better...:(

The hotel breakfast was plain boring. and to think it was CHRISTMAS breakfast!!! SO not worth it! I mean there was turkey everyday!!! ABSOLUTELY NON SPECIAL!!!

The pool attendants were damn poor or plain lazy. Sure, the rain stopped an hour ago but still couldn't you have wiped the decks and tables and stuff? Not to mention, you allowed the worst thing to happen. You allowed people to just swim in their shorts and underwear instead of proper swimwear! MY GOODNESSS!!! I seriously adore Regent more...I mean there, at least we get fruits and drinks....here? Nothing.

Did more shopping and I finally struck gold on the 2nd last day!!! BUM jeans and let's say it again...BUM jeans at 45RM!!! *screams* BARGAIN!!! But I hate the shirts. oh well. At least I can wear the jeans!

My last meal in Malaysia was in Malacca.Had A&W. Why the hell did Singapore's one die out, I'm not sure...I mean their nasi lemak was divine!!! not to mention the chicken wings!!! Oh and the coney dog and curly fries...*cries* and most importantly the root beer floats!

The jam at Tuas was sickening though. But I was FINALLY back home for good...until next year... :P

HAPPY HOLIDAYS and

MERRY NEW YEAR!!!
