Firstly, I'm rather happy that I didn't go for sunday class today. They're having some practical that I don't feel like doing. Prayers to wish for something. Bah, humbug! I prefer taking the more practical route which is working towards that something rather than asking.

Anyways, the reason why I didn't go is because I'm sick. Bleh. *sniffles* I just hope it won't last long. Can't stand the throbbing headache, the lethargicy, the asphyxiation once the nose gets blocked. Horrible feelings.

Let's see...on Fri was the first time I taught the kids alone. And I have decided. I shall NEVER become a pri sch teacher EXCEPT as a LAST and FINAL resort. They tried to climb over my head! Some walked around the classroom, others talked and talked and didn't pay attention and such. Haiz...sure, I scolded them but the thing is, now I feel guilty. Extra class was worse. the five kids I taught couldn't understand anything! Ok, so maybe just three of them. The other two were fine. Had to reread the entire passage thrice.

And yes, I did one more testing. On Monday, I'm finishing the general overview of testing. Then i'm taking a day off. Not to relax but rather to enrol online. IMHO, I think it's rather late. Still, I'm hoping for a good week again.

However, during my stint, I talked to a foreign boy who was fighting with a local boy. The reason? The local boy badmouthed his country saying that the boy's country was useless. Gawd. So now the question stands. Should the FT have scolded the foreign boy for fighting? (well, she did scold both) Sure, his patriotism was impressive but the other issue is, what would you have done if someone badmouths YOUR country?

I seriously will explain that that is his/her opinion. I will try to explain why my country is undeserving of the slurs. However, I think I might even ignore it. Let's face it. I'm not shy to admit I'm not loyal to Singapore. The only times I do is during National Day. Other than that, I'm constantly dreaming of greener pastures. If there's a war, will you stay? Hmm...

Oh did you know that LKY is mildly dyslexic? And yes, that is hereditary.
