Eternal torment: The Search

The academia life will soon start rolling. October is here and I've barely touched my notes. I pray hard that the meeting is held this sat. Therefore, I can make it next Sat for jc hoppin! Bwahaha. Ok, I'm being nuts, partly because I've been watching Goong (princess hours) lately.

I can't help but bemoan the many ill timed events that will soon be held - Hari Raya. I was barely able to maintain my composure when I found out that Chris Botti, one of the 50 sexiest people according to some gossip rag, would be performing a one night stand in Singapore.

First, Buble, then Jamie and now Botti?! Am I cursed to not be able to listen to them live?

Seriously, Chris Botti's mastery of the trumpets is orgasmic inducing. Let's just say I melted listening to his uber sexy, romantic rendition of one of my all time favourites, When I fall in love. (The damn CD isn't even in Singapore. Thank god for the internet) But place Botti and Buble...oh, my ears yearn to savour that delight live.

As the holidays draw closer to the end, I've realised that I've not accomplished some of my goals. Like seeing all of Dali's works, (I only saw two) writing one chapter/poem a week, going to the zoo, having lunch with Jules, etc.

I have to force myself to look on the bright side of things - at least I've got 18 reviews for my story, meet my best friend. Oh well.

I detest it when I'm forced to sleep at 12. It's frickin early. It's no wonder I'm stuck and still suck at writing.

I've realised most of my posts of late have not contained any posts on the world at large, other than a passing remark about Thailand. So I'll just write a few of my thoughts down.

I'm a wee bit disappointed when the new Thai PM was the retired gen. Like I said, a long while ago, it's getting eeriely familiar. Oh god. I wonder how Nat is doing in Philippines. With the storm and all, I hope she's okay.
