Is there a 12 steps programme for television shows (or to be more precise, telly dramas)?

I just spent about a week watching Goong, (princess hours, palace or imperial household, whichever you prefer). Now my eyes are hurting so bad, I can't use my specs to see the computer screen. (It burns...it burns...ARgh...my eyes!)

With the impending festive occasion round the corner, the house is in a flurry of activity. Ok, so it's just my father and my mum. I swear my father has rather eclectic taste in home decor. Who else would have thought of painting the storeroom door red? (still incomplete and looking more and more likea bloody barn door the more I stare at it) And who would paint the sewage pipes bright yellow?! (I've been avoiding the restroom solely for this reason but I don't think I can last much longer).

Before I proceed on my very short diatribe concerning the freedom of speech issue in the blogsphere, here's a friendly reminder. Start whipping out those face masks. The haze is expected to stay for a coupel of days more. *sniffles* Yes, I'm gettingaffected by it.

Of late, there have been many issues concerning the legalities in the blogspbere. Govts, companies, even schools are worried about the misuse of blogs.

Firstly, people who wish to slam others should do so discreetly OR putting the entry under private view. There is no need to smear someone else's name in your online diary. Sometimes, people just need to share sensitive information with friends over the blogs. If so, may I suggest moving to livejournal.com and use its friends only option? Yes, you can even select which friends can view your posts if it's THAT sensitive a post. I know I did.

But that isn't the issue at hand. What I am also very concerned about is that in using words, some have forgotten that one can't fully convey sarcasm online. Even if you put it in italics, some buffons will still take it at face value. Remember the Mr Brown saga?

I can't believe I'm doing this but I'm just gonna get straight to the point. Just watch what you write and you'll be safe.

Now, for another matter at hand. Remember to mark down the calendars for the upcoming Chingay to watch a dozen MPs ridicule themselves by being who they aren't. I understand that political parties want fresh blood but this isn't the way to go. Be who you are and you'll be able to connect to some of us. Admittedly, you can't connect to everyone but with a dozen MPs with varying influences, you'll be able to attract diff types no? I don't get why the whole world suddenly seems to want to appeal to the youth of today by holding gimmicks and such. You know what's worse? They keep thinking hip-hop is SO in with youths. Sure, it is for some youths but not all of us honey. I for one dislike hip hop...some would say I detest it. Ok, I totally forgot what I was about to write. It's been happening rather frequently of late. Perhaps it is due to watching Goong for too long. I'm even dreaming of new plots.

I can't wait for next week. I'm still charting my paths though. Haiz...wonder if I can make it to all the JCs that I want to visit. Oh well, to all promos survivors, congrats once again!
