Eternal torment: The Search

I KNOW I'm supposed to be studying for the common test tmr but I'll do that later. I'l blog about Fri's rather uneventful class gathering; to call it a dinner would give it far more accolade that it deserves. Lol.

So I left home at around 6 (Having had my classes shortened to some 2.5 hours) and ended up late. *face palms* Mardhiah and Fifa were amongst the first to arrive. Fariq turned up a few seconds later. I do believe we were stuck on the same train. He was the first to smack my butt (despite it being a slight slap; NOT a smack, I'll just give it to him). Then we saw Sal and gang with Nanthini.

Weijian's in SP and I didn't even know until now; oh how embarassing! I pride myself on knowing where most people went and I didn't even know where my desk partner went to?
On the otherhand, Jeya is seemingly on his way of breaking records for tallest man.

Oh, oh...quick someone! Call the press! Sundaram's voice broke!

It's a few octaves lower! *snickers* It's a rather nice change from his previous voice. I'm starting to think that perhaps my voice cracked, not broke. There's a distinct difference between the two. Oh well...if only puberty didn't affect me, I think I would have been one very glad little person.

Then we made the arduous task of making our way to Suntec where James and Faris waited for us. Of course, we found out that Nanthini's GPA was a near perfect 3.95. It just broke my heart. I guessed we made a scene huh Fariq?

Oh yes, James got a crew cut WAY ahead of NS. What a drastic change from being the only guy I knew in sec sch who was so bloody vain, he used the OHP as his personal vanity mirror, straightened his hair every couple of months and bought what seems like piles of hair products. I used to love tormenting him. Sigh...good times, good times.

Joey, Kenny and Bryan (the former being the original organizer and the latter being the final organizer) caught up with us as we bought our take out meal from BK. Went to Sky Garden to eat, much to the chagrin of several people. Not that I minded. It was a rather pleasant night. We essentially caught up with one another, gossipped etc. Of course, now I've got events on my calender all marked out for GPA etc. I can't wait. Phyllis and Syafiq joined us as we ate. :)

Fifa and Mardhiah left after that; I hoped they enjoyed the rather unconventional meal. The rest of us headed to Marina Square where we split up into two groups. James, Kenny, Joey, Phyllis went for dinner (to where I have no idea but I just want to know where they went to ear until past 11pm). The rest of us went for pool. (Or rather watch pool for Weijian, Nanthini, Jeya and I). All in all, it was a great time just hanging out with them; I missed them so much.

As we headed home, I met Edwin and we talked on the way home. Mdm Asnah is fine if anyone's inquiring. Found out that the Indon scholars aren't doing so well for promos. Haha. Asnah's the best in teaching Malay! Thank god we got her. Although in retrospect, I still have no idea why I spent quite some effort trying to master a language that I have little use now. Heck, I rarely use it at home. Although I'm trying my concious best to rectify this rather glaring problem, I can't help it if I'm more comfortable with English- International language of business, arts, etc. versus the regional language of the Malay Archiepalago *did I spell that right?*; doesn't take a genius to figure out which language has more merits.

I would like to thank everyone who has helped made the FIRST 4-4 class gathering materialize. And to those who missed out, I hope you can join us at the next one (whenever THAT is...)

I'll update on my more mundane aspect of life but no one would want to bore themselves to sleep so I'll end it off here.
