Eternal torment: The Search

This is perhaps the second post I've made in the school lab. And my 131th post. Only a few more before I can pop the champagne for 150th post!

So today, we had tea with the school director. I guess it was okay; them trying to make it all informal and all. Still, I felt all of us knew inherently that we were supposed to behave. Why else would the class advisor be there? (Like a hawk)

She said that the class was perhaps the most talented lot she's met so far. Bah humbug. I think she tells that to every class she meets. Still, it was a tad weird to reintroduce yourself. Particularly when you've nothing to say about yourself (other than diss yourself)

The tea they prepared was okay; being ravenous, I took close to 3 plates. But I can't help but wonder if only one food caterer exists; it's the same food caterer that supplied me with food when the canteen shut down. Oh...the memories when I savoured the taste of the sambal.

Memories flooded me as I recalled buying buns (cheese and hotdog) while waiting for classes, on the way to classes and what have you. Heck, break started as soon as the aunties finished setting up the place.

And of Speech Day. Oh, perhaps a day that will go down in Anderson's history when it was the returning seniors who misbehaved instead. We partook in booing the ever unpopular VP, whom I've even forgotten the name. Oops, I shouldn't have said that. Ya right. It occured, and it's a fact. So get over it if you're reading this, you law abiding buggers. I didn't insult anyone ya?

Gawd, I'm missing the people who made my 4 years memorable; all the teachers (who've come and gone, and going) to the nice cleaner aunties to the security guards (ever so inquisitive to know everything NOT related to school like..."Are you Eurasian" and "Where are you now?") to the ever so helpful office staff (esp Mrs Muthu!) to Mrs Tan and most importantly my friends, my brothers, my sisters, my grandniece to well, EVERYONE!

I just hope I can make it for this week's gathering. I miss you all so much! <3
