First off, thank you Rosie for the warm back to sch sms. :) I think it made my awesome first day even better.

My new teammates are super nice people - at least the two Pharmacy people. Joe and Zhijien aren't considered new since they're my classmates since year 1. :P

After lessons (which ended suprisingly very early), headed down to the cca fiesta thingie. It was rather nice just meeting new people. Goodness, I found a fellow DBSK SuJu fangirl in NP! *screams and jumps for joy* Naturally, we just talked and talked about the boys, nodding and agreeing with the other in between bouts of squeeling. Call me nuts for all I care. I'm a loud and proud ELF, petals, Cassiopeia (in spirit) and more. Bwaha! Only fans of the two bands would understand what I mean.

Oh god, I met Phyllis!!! *grins* Girl, I've missed you oodles! Hopefully we can meet some time soon on campus. :)

Today was a rollover of the good feelings. Okay, so the start wasn't all that great. My first impression of the new lecturer was that she was a rather domineering, intimidating and slightly brash person. But we got to know each other better and I really really like her lots. Haha.

but the prices of notes and so on are really really going to hit me hard. I'm bracing myself for LD. Who knows if suddenly one of the markers die on me or something? *shudders*

Anyways, let's get back to Mrs Rama's class. She hates the formal uses of Sir, Madam and detest 'cher. Funny lady imho. She spoke with such enthusiasm and vigour about plant genetics that I'm actually considering that line. I'll take one step at a time though. But seriously, the module is like Version 2.0 of Plant Anatomy and Morphology. But me, being the blur goon that I am, I've forgotten practically most of it. Sorry Dr Chitra! I'll work harder! And her words, they reek of sarcasm. *grins*

She made us describe ourselves in one word, preferably an adjective that starts with the same letter as our name. So I'll just put the list down here in case I ever forget it. Real hilarious...

Diver Zhijien (Inside joke amongst the boys I guess)
Vicious Victor (O.O But I do agree he can look rather scary...)

Jumpy Jacyln (This girl-lady actually contemplated Jealous but she went for jumpy instead. But I think it suits her...she's always so hyper and bouncy)
Kooky Khairul. I wanted weird but mrs rama disagreed. *rolls eyes* But it suits me, ne? I'm a nutcase, for goodness' sake. She suggested kinky but I came up with kooky. I was high!)
Lazy Loy (his words, not mine. I don't think he should have gone with that though. He's like one of the more hardworking people I know. Not to mention talented. Lovely would have been better no?)
Mini Minyi (mrs rama went, "Are you shorter than 1.5?", "Yes.")
Quacky Qianyi (Suits her I guess)
Sensible Soohoon (Although I think sweet would be better but hey, I'm not her. She knows herself better ya?)
Eating Yiting (I asked her later why and she said because it's close to my name. Delightfully clever don't you think?)
Twinkle Shuey Ting. (Hilarious shit when she was choosing her word. Cos her first word wasn't a very shall we say...clean word? All puns intended)

Joker Joe (Rather peculiar sense of humour but he is sometimes funny)
Jerome (I totally forgot the guy's word. Because I was laughing so hard when someone suggested jackass. Can you just imagine?)

For practical, we dissected flowers - thankfully, we didn't need to make slides which most, if not all of us are horrible at. Found out some things about Lina as I eavesdropped on her coversation with Jerome, the conversation starter. I'll just leave it at that since it's not my info to share anyways.

But Mrs Rama has just gotten a sampler of our class during practical. I doubt she'll be fully prepared for our...loudness. :P I always seem to be in loud classes. But I actually enjoy it. There's a certain balance of play and work...gotta love them though. Balanced people are better than true blue no life muggers.

I'll just end things here for today. Tmr, I'm having Gardening 2.0 (officially nursery management)

Let's hope that this will be the start to all things good. (and i'm praying hard it's finances first)
